Cluedog
Found one.

Someone just asked for what you sell.

Cluedog sniffs through Reddit, Hacker News, LinkedIn and X, and brings back the people worth replying to. A short list, every morning. You write to them. It never posts for you.

You are good at the work. Finding it is the slow part.

The people who need you are easy to miss. They ask once, in a thread that goes quiet in a day or two, in words that never mention your service by name.

An hour of scrolling, most morningsSubreddits, searches and saved tabs, to find one post worth answering.
Replying a week lateBy then they have picked someone, or the thread is closed.
Pitching someone who was never buyingA student, a competitor, or an account that only wanted the likes.

Your buyers are already posting.

Not about your category. About their own problem, in their own words. These are the kind of posts Cluedog brings back.

Our agency just quit mid-project. App is 70% done and launch is in 5 weeks. Need someone who can pick up a React Native codebase.

Ask HN: our data pipeline falls over every month-end. 12-person fintech, audit in Q1. Looking for outside help.

Our support team answers the same 40 questions all day. Has anyone brought in a team to build an assistant on their own docs?

Anyone know a studio that can take over a half-built Shopify app? Our developer left and Black Friday is six weeks out.

I run a 9-person accounting firm and we still onboard clients over email. Is there someone who sets up a proper client portal? Happy to pay for it.

Ask HN: who do you hire for a security review before a SOC 2 audit? We are 20 people and have never had one done.

Three steps. A short list every morning.

1

Paste a link to what you sell

Cluedog reads your site and sets up each thing you sell as its own offering. You check it and fix what it guessed.

2

Set your bar

A clear need, a budget, a timeline, a decision maker, posted in the last 48 hours. Switch on the ones that matter to you.

3

Open your list at 8

Up to 3, 5 or 10 leads, each with why it fits and what to watch out for. Work one, save one, or tell it why one was not a fit.

It does not stop at the post.

Pick a lead and Cluedog walks the rest with you, one step at a time.

First replyA draft that answers their question. No links, no price, ends with a question.
ConversationPaste their answer. Get a read on it and a next message.
Call prepA goal, an agenda, questions to ask and objections to expect.
ProposalWritten in your own sections and tone, learned from one you sent before.

You write the replies. Cluedog never posts.

Nothing to connect

It never asks for your Reddit, LinkedIn or X login. It reads public posts and you reply from your own account.

Nothing made up

Drafts use only what you told it. A missing price or project stays a placeholder such as [YOUR PRICE].

Nothing kept that should not be

A past proposal is read once for its style. The file, its client and its prices are not stored.

After the trial Cluedog runs on credits: one each time a search runs, and one each time it checks who wrote a matching post.

Credits

We are still setting the price of a credit. Your Sources page already shows the credits per day for your setup, so you will know the cost before you pay anything.

Still investigating...

Fair questions.

Who is it for?

Agencies, consultants, freelancers and product companies whose buyers ask for help in public before they buy.

Will the person know I found their post?

No. Cluedog only reads what is public, and nothing reaches them until you reply yourself.

What if nothing passes my bar?

Then the list is empty that day. The near misses wait underneath, each with the rule it missed, and you can loosen the bar whenever you like.

I sell more than one thing.

Each offering gets its own searches, its own bar and its own list. You switch between them from the top of the page.

Can I see what it searches for?

Every search is listed with how often it runs. Switch any of them off, or add your own.

Go on. Paste the link.

Cluedog reads your site, works out what you sell, and starts looking for the people asking for it. The first search begins as soon as you finish.
